MyNutriPal ("the app") is a personal nutrition tracking tool. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

To do this, your data is sent to our backend server for processing. We use Anthropic's Claude API to perform meal analysis and generate coaching observations. Your data is processed by Anthropic in accordance with their privacy policy (anthropic.com/privacy). Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with any other third parties.
Your profile, targets, and meal logs are stored locally on your device. Meal photos are transmitted to our server for analysis and are not retained after processing is complete.
The app collects health-related information (weight, health conditions) solely to personalise your nutrition targets. MyNutriPal is a nutrition awareness tool, not a medical device. Do not use it to replace medical advice.
This app is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
You can delete all your data at any time from within the app:
Settings → Reset app & clear all data
This removes all locally stored profile, target, and meal data from your device.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
